Myrtle Beach's Nightlife Clusters at Broadway and the Boardwalk

The nightlife on the Grand Strand splits into three zones. Broadway at the Beach is the family-first entertainment complex with clubs sprinkled in — Celebrations Nightlife is the five-in-one club-in-one-building that anchors the night. Pier 14 on the boardwalk has the reliable beach bar in the right position. Ocean Annie's at the Sands is the legitimate beachfront bar of record.

For live music with real bands, House of Blues at Barefoot Landing books touring rock and country, and The Bowery on Ocean Boulevard is where Alabama (the band) got its start and still has authentic country-bar energy.

Spring break weeks shift the baseline of the whole town. In July and August, the family crowd dominates; September through May the bar scene is looser. 2 AM last call.
